From a unique area in the world like the Langhe, in Piedmont in northern Italy, some of the most sophisticated gastronomic combinations of Italian cuisine are born.
Among these the Jams for Cheeses, two excellences that find a great vocation in this land. The Brezzo family has been committed for generations to the artisanal production of honey, sauces and jams of the highest quality starting from the raw materials of the territory.
Among these stands the box with 5 jars of jams for cheese in a miniature format. An assortment of five flavours: mustard figs, sweet pepper sauce, green tomatoes and figs, red onion, truffle honey.
An original idea for a complete tasting of on more or less mature cheeses.
Tasting and pairings:
- Mustard Figs 35 gr: the sweet taste of figs meets the spiciness of mustard that creates a velvety balance in the mouth to be paired with long-aged and strong flavored cheeses.
- Sweet Pepper Sauce 35 gr, perfect to accompany semi-mature cheeses
- Green Tomatoes and Figs 35 gr, a sauce that keeps acidulous characteristics that go well with less seasoned cheeses like spicy Gorgonzola, Asiago, Rochefort.
- Red Onion 35 gr, a great classic in cheese tastings is its combination with different types of red onion jam, which has the sweetness as main characteristics. With this sauce you can even dare to taste softer cheeses such as the brie or enhance the sapid characteristics of great seasoned cheeses like the famous Castelmagno cheese from Piedmont.
- Truffle Honey 35 gr: the Brezzo company has the quality of 100% Italian honey as a workhorse.The preparation of a flavoured honey becomes a luxury dressing to accompany goat's cheeses by enhancing their flavour and wild scent.
